The men and women driving Pangea Foundation have come together from diverse backgrounds—from the west coast to the east coast to America’s heartland—but we each share a common professional passion: equipping America’s nonprofits with capacity-building software that compels people to take actions that transform our world. We’re an eclectic blend of strategically disciplined, yet highly creative professionals who made the decision to bail out on their cushy gigs in the big sandbox, and highly astute prodigies who rejected the “big boys” from the start.

What was clear to each of us from the time we joined Pangea Foundation was the resonant need to bring capacity-building technologies to nonprofits.

In our previous lives as mega-business professionals, if we weren’t already designing and developing enterprise-class technologies for others, we were at least using them to solve complex business problems. And we knew there just had to be a way to leverage enterprise-class technologies, not just to solve business problems, but to make a difference in the lives of people in the most need.

And there was.

Since 1996—one by one—we walked into the light. Left-brained software engineers, right-brained artists, service-minded professionals. Together, a one-of-a-kind team set forth to wage an epic battle against today’s most menacing social challenges. A valiant, solitary nonprofit, charged with slaying the hoary dragons from life’s bleak battlefield of despair, and helping to restore hope to people in need, armed only with wit, commitment, and the expertise to create, deploy and support capacity-building Software-as-a-Service for nonprofits.

We’re the alternative to the typical software company—simple and straightforward, built around a streamlined process and open atmosphere.
